Medical Waste Disposal

Medical waste disposal includes the disposal of Biohazards, hazardous waste, animal waste, human waste, sharps and red bag waste.  XMED offers medical waste solutions for hospitals, physicians offices, waste transporters, health clinics, pharmacies, laboratories,  health clinics, emergency services and more.

XMED uses only DOT approved medical waste disposal containers for the Facility. The Infection Control Department will like the cleaning process for all reusable Containers. Each Container, as well as the transport vehicle, is cleaned by XMED staff utilizing a Spartan Chemical that kills all odors, resistant bacteria, and possible contaminants. MSDS sheets are available and test strips are provided to the Facility to ensure effectiveness.

XMED offers a variety of options for pricing its services including a flat rate based on the Facility's performance data. This method allows the Facility to budget long term for the cost of disposal of Biohazard material and most realize a savings over standard per pound pricing.
