PRESS INFORMATION - November 17, 2006

XMED Incorporated introduced its new Medical Waste treatment equipment to Company Stockholders and other interested parties at an open house earlier today. XMED is the largest Medical Waste Transporter in North Alabama and serves many North Alabama Hospitals and Physicians. XMED is in the business of collecting, transporting, and treating Regulated Medical Waste; Used Health Care Products; Sharps Waste; expired or contaminated Pharmaceuticals; and other Special Waste materials.

XMED received approval from the Alabama Department of Environmental Management for this specialized equipment in April of 2006. This new treatment process utilizes a Bondtech Steam Autoclave to treat medical waste and is a proven technology. The Autoclave utilizes steam to kill pathogens and bacteria before delivery to an incinerator or landfill for final disposal. The steam from the Autoclave is cooled down during the treatment cycle and is not released into the air. This treatment process will reduce the cost of disposal and improve operational efficiency for the Company.

XMED serves most Medical Waste Generators including Hospitals, Outpatient Centers, Physicians, Dentists, Nursing Homes, Laboratories, Veterinarians, Pharmacies, School Clinics, Tattoo Parlors, Manufacturing Clinics, Long Term Care Facilities, Home Health Agencies, Hospices, Fire Departments, Ambulance Services, Funeral Homes, Assisted Living Communities, Child Care Centers, and Individual Generators of Medical Waste Products.

Tim Beddingfield, President of the Company located at 2126 Metro Circle in Huntsville, told those attending that this new equipment would enable XMED to properly treat medical waste for Medical Providers in our area and he encouraged individuals who were concerned about the proper disposal of their needles to contact XMED. He also stated that XMED Management believes that proper handling of Medical Waste is important and that our “Earth Matters”.
