Each XMED Mail System contains everything necessary to properly ship, document and dispose of your sharps waste, regulated medical waste or biohazardous waste. All postage and mailing fees are included in the prices. You never pay more.

XMED makes the ordering process for our mail system as quick and convenient as possible. XMED recommends that you purchase two Mail Systems on your initial order. Then, select our automated replacement system so you will not have to remember to reorder. When you send your first box back to our treatment facility, the XMED Mail System automatically sends you a replacement container of the same size.

 

We accept most major credit cards. Your preferred payment method is automatically billed when your replacement container is shipped. You may change the size of your XMED containers at any time without restriction. There is never a contract with the XMED Mail System. To adjust the size of your container, just order two of the new size.

1/2 Gallon Sharps Waste System
This small sharps-only container is the perfect size for home, small office and individual use. Many tattoo parlors also use this size. It is small enough to fit conveniently in tight places but will hold a good supply of sharps for disposal. The internal container is 7” x 7 Ό” x 5” and the XMED box is 8 ½” x 8 Ό” x 8 Ό”. The maximum weight for this container is 3 pounds**.

This is another good size for home, small office and individual use for patients who have a lot of sharps. Many small doctors and dentists offices also use this sharps-only container. The internal container is 8” x 9 Ό” x 7” and the XMED box is 9 Ό” x 10 Ό” x 10 Ό”. The maximum weight for this container is 5 pounds**.

5 Gallon Regulated Medical Waste System
This XMED Mail System container is our company’s flagship product. The system is popular with all sizes of clinics and heath care facilities. This System will accept both sharps and non-liquid "soft" regulated medical waste. The internal container is 14 ½” x 13 ½” x 10 ½” and the XMED box is 16” x 16 Ό” x 15”. The maximum weight for this container is 25 pounds**.

5 Gallon Medical Waste System with Spill Kit
In addition to the elements included in the 5 Gallon Medical Waste System specified above, the XMED Spill Kit includes 8 oz. Precise QTB Disinfectant Spray, Vinyl Gloves, Absorbent Powder, Absorbent Towel, 2 Spatulas, Biohazard Waste Bag, and an Antiseptic Hand Wipe. The XMED Spill Kit is used by many customers in special and emergency situations, so it is a good idea to have one on hand in case you need it. This product is used extensively by trauma and crime scene restoration services. The maximum weight for this container is 25 pounds**.

5 Gallon Pharmaceutical Waste System
This XMED Mail System container is intended for pharmaceutical waste. The internal container is 14 ½” x 13 ½” x 10 ½” and the XMED box is 16” x 16 Ό” x 15”. Many different types of facilities are now using this container to prevent common pharmaceuticals from entering the universal waste stream and our groundwater. The products returned in this container should be non-controlled substance pharmaceuticals. Controlled substances should be strictly managed in compliance with federal and state regulations in your location. The maximum weight for this container is 25 pounds**.

Each XMED Mail System container comes complete with an attractive yet fully compliant XMED return box. All XMED Mail System products comply with all federal, state and local regulations.

 

These products have been extensively tested and also comply with all U.S. Postal Service regulations for mail-back return of sharps and regulated medical waste. In addition to the return shipping box, all XMED Mail Systems include a durable sharps container, plastic liner, liner tie, priority shipping tape, easy to follow instructions, USPS regulations, 4-part manifest, and shipping envelope.

 

All shipping, handling, and disposal are included in the price. In compliance with state regulations, orders from the following states will incur an additional $8.00 - $10.00 shipping/handling fee: AK, AS, AZ, CA, GU, HI, ID, MT, NV, OR, PR, UT, VI, WA.

 

Please observe the weight restrictions on each container. These weight limits are set by the U.S. Postal Service. Multiple violations of the Post Office weight restrictions could result in the USPS suspending your right to use the economical and convenient XMED Mail System. If you think the weight of the sharps or regulated medical waste you will be shipping back to XMED might exceed the USPS weight restrictions, we recommend that you order the next larger size or return the medical waste materials in two containers.
